Penta Ispra Project

This project is a spin-off from the art-geography activity started under the Dutch Semester at the JRC Ispra during 2004. The idea is basically to apply the pentagram concept, used for the geography project and to leave in the Ispra society the signs of the cultural and scientific heritage. From one side it is the scientific world of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and from the other side the cultural history of the small village, Ispra, on the border of the Lago Maggiore.

A full description can be downloaded GSA_PentaIspra07_EN.pdf(uk_sm.gif 600 KB). A projection of the pentagram on a satellite image of Ispra shows the five elements of the Penta Ispra Project IsiPentaIspraA4.pdf (image 550 KB).
