If Van Gogh visited …..

What if Van Gogh were to have passed through this region? During the Dutch Semester this formed part of an exhibition. How would he have interpreted the local scenes, how would he have painted the church? This turned into a novel, as a young local girl sat painting the Church of San Martino in the late 1800s. Van Gogh would have seen it full of bright, sunny, positive colours, transmitting hope and joy - just as it is today. Fantasy – Art – History – Geography!
